In the series Limbo (2003-2007), I took photos of buildings from different cities like Amsterdam, Rotterdam, San Juan, New York, Paris, the structures includes an university, art museums, sport stadium, train station, houses, banks, among others. These places are containers of and represent power (social, political, economic). I took pictures of different angles and perspectives to show a new face to the original buildings. I built architecture with photography. These pictures create a labyrinth, a complex place of forms. The concrete, steel and glass structures becomes a metaphor of placeless-ness it could be anywhere.
